John graduated in 2007  with a Master’s in Family Therapy, and has been in practice for 5 years.

Life is too complicated not to need some help and support from time to time. I believe it takes a certain amount of bravery to recognize when we need help, and even more to seek it out. In order to provide the best possible support specific to you and your situation, I am most interested in getting to know you, your goals, and your expectations for therapy. I have a relaxed approach and have created a warm environment in which you can feel comfortable right away.
My approach includes a balance between understanding/processing your feelings, with actions-plans/skill-building. I find this to be the most effective approach for positive lasting change. I believe therapy is most helpful when it is used to improve life, not replace it.
I am a good listener, who truly believes in people’s ability for positive change. I want to help, and it starts with getting to know you, and then together finding the most helpful path for reaching your goals.
John Specializes in:
  • Adolescents and adults
  • Individuals, couples and families
  • Anxiety
  • depression
  • life transitions
  • interpersonal relationships
  • obsessive-compulsive
  • self-esteem
  • sports-related issues
  • coping with divorce
  • stress management
  • Integrative approach including cognitive-behavioral, narrative and psychodynamic therapy.

Michelle is a massage school graduate of the Academy of somatic healing arts in Norcross, Georgia. With four years of massage experience, she has developed her own personal blend of Swedish massage, deep tissue, sports massage, and neuromuscular therapy. Her goal is not simply to have her clients feeling well until they reach the parking lot, but instead to have them feeling well for longer periods of time and to have consistent improvement after each massage session.

Michelle currently attends Santa Monica College with a long term goal of receiving a bachelor’s degree in physiology from UCLA. When she is not in school or doing massage, she loves surfing and practicing Aikido in Culver City.
